A monoprint is a hand pulled print that is one of a kind and is hand embellished. This is another work that came from the “paint out” with Bolt’s at the Grangehall Studio. I was working on a series with a fruit theme in mind. We had been talking about farmer’s markets and that is what inspired “Just a Pear” and “Apple-Fest”. I like the way the background textures add color and movement to both pieces and can see them hanging in a kitchen. I framed them both with a dark, burnt red frame so that they would compliment each other.
