A Sunny Day in Charlevoix Note Card by Linda Boss. This image is a reproduction of the original 10×10 acrylic on board studio painting. It was done with a brush and a palette knife so there is a nice texture. I often work from photos and used to carry my camera with me in the car to take reference pictures when I could. Now it is much easier with my phone. This was a bright sunny day and I loved the color of the sky and water framed the lighthouse. I was very happy painting this painting on an early spring day in anticipation of the summer to come. I think it shows… it is a “happy” painting wouldn’t you say?
